Tekeira Styles Hair Salon assists persons, both male and female to "embrace their beauty" internally and externally. We don't only enhance and beautify our client’s hair but, we increase their confidence, impact and motivate them to conquer their goals in life.

We specialize in Natural Hairstyles; twists, plaits & cornrows, Protective Hairstyles; braids & faux locs; and Dreadlocks Maintenance and Extensions.

Tekeira Styles Hair Salon has now incorporated a Hairstyling Academy where we teach and educate persons who are interested in learning the techniques that we use, such as natural hairstyles (plaits, cornrows and dreadlocks) and protective hairstyles. 

We at Tekeira Styles Hair Salon not only provide hair care, but we also have our new and upcoming Merchandise & Product Line.

MEET OUR FOUNDER 

Tekeira Atkins, the founder and lead hairstylist of Tekeira Styles Hair Salon. Tekeira started this journey in 2015, while pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Hairstyling started off as a hobby and a source of financial assistance while attending the University of the West Indies.

In 2017, she decided to give her life to Jesus Christ and seek him in spirit and in truth and this is where she realized that she was not living a fulfilling and purposeful life as a Civil Engineering student and needed answers as to the direction where her life was heading. As time progressed, her passion for hairstyling grew and she became more aligned with God's purpose for her life. She enjoys meeting persons on a daily basis, sharing her testimony and journey of living a purposeful life. Tekeira loves to encourage others to incorporate God into their lives as much as they can, as He helped her through her trials and showed her His will for her life.
